Inauguration Ceremony of Solar System


Conservation of energy and use of solar power is the need of the hour, says Honourable Minister for Higher Education Department Mr. Mansoor Qadir. Government College Women University Faisalabad has upgraded its campus on solarization. Minister for Higher Education and School Education Department Mr. Mansoor Qadir today inaugurated solar system at GCWUF. Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Robina Farooq (T.I) welcomed the honourable guest to the campus. He visited all labs, Fitness Fusion Studio, E-Rozgar Skill Development Centre, Jinnah Auditorium, and various classrooms and appreciated the efforts of the university in uplifting the standards of all academic, research, and developmental projects of the university. He stressed that the universities are a hub of research and innovation. Therefore, our researchers should find and propose solutions to our pravelent and future challenges for creating a conducive environment to sustain our lives. He further added that conservation of energy and use of solar power is the need of the hour to shift on consumable cheaper sources of energy and avoid energy crisis. Pro- Vice Chancellor GCWUF Prof Dr Zill-i-Huma Nazli, Registrar Mr Asif A Malik, Controller of Examinations Mrs Rizwana Tanveer Randhawa, Treasurer Mr Anser Mughal, and acting Chairman Department of Mathematics Prof Dr Saima Akram accompanied the distinguished Pro-Chancellor and the Vice Chancellor in the campus visit. On this occasion he called on a meeting with all heads of teaching and administrative departments also. Madam Vice Chancellor presented a detailed report on all academic and administrative achievements of the university. The honourable minister expressed his delight on the pace of the progress of the university.
